About Us

NorAM, Inc. was established in 1995 as a provider of high-tech paint booths and related equipment. NorAM began as a family owned and operated manufacturing and importing business-- providing paint booths that were of the best quality available. Although NorAM has enjoyed rapid growth, the focus has always remained on quality.

NorAM offers products that are engineered, designed, and manufactured in the U.S.A. Beginning in the late 1980s, after working with several major booth manufacturers; the founders of NorAM began developing their own products. These products included the most desirable features from the best existing booths, combined with improvements like "air curtain" technology. These new NorAM booths debuted in 1995. NorAM prides itself on surpassing customer expectations with our U.S. designed and built products. We have made constant improvements, and our updated 2008 models received rave reviews at N.A.C.E. in Las Vegas. We offer affordable pricing, prompt tech support and a range of upgrade and repair parts.

NorAM builds heat units and exhaust systems that can be used on several different brands of booths. Our heat systems are provided as OEM equipment to booth manufacturers who require upgraded curing results. These ETL-listed units offer unparalleled efficiency and performance.

Mr. Harold Davis is the founder and president of NorAM, Inc. His entire career has been based on his interest in improving the quality and performance of products that are used in daily activities. He has excelled at integrating improvements into the products he has built for a wide range of clients. He initially enjoyed success as a contractor of unique residential and commercial structures, including buildings that required elaborate design and engineering. His interests led him into projects that involved welding, machining, electrical design, electronic automation, fabricating, and "soup-to-nuts" manufacturing of a variety of products. While gaining experience in both hands-on and management positions, Mr. Davis became intrigued by the paint booth industry and the technology that could be applied to it. Prior to founding NorAM, Mr. Davis was a successful distributor for other major paint booth manufacturers--and still acts as a consultant and technical advisor to other companies that build paint booth equipment. For over 15 years he has focused all of his efforts toward making advancements that can benefit the entire painting/refinishing industry. If there are cost-effective ways to improve the performance of a piece of equipment, Mr. Davis thoroughly enjoys the challenge of integrating these improvements into NorAM products.
