| We decided to build our own heat/air units because everything else on the market seemed to be adapted from a commercial HVAC device or used outdated indirect heating of the airstream--and just didn't work very well. Our units are designed especially for paint booths and prep stations. They feature high-performance forward curving fans instead of inefficient tube axial fans or so-called "turbo" fans that run out of steam once the booth's filters get a little clogged. We test our units at "real world" static pressures of 1.25" to 2.25" instead of the unrealistically low .25" to .75" that many companies use. As a result, our 13,500 CFM systems outperform most 15,000-16,000 CFM systems on the market. Our units use Power Flame "Jet Fire" burners instead of less efficient trough burners to generate super fast direct-fired heat. Due to a large demand for this product, we now offer OEM sales to other paint booth manufacturers who are looking for an upgraded heat/air system for their products. All NorAM heat units and controls are ETL-listed in the United States and Canada. Our Mach-3 Series of heated air management systems have several different features. The Mach-3 products are stand-alone heat units. The Mach-3R features internal recirculation for economy and faster temperature rise while the Mach-3X features full cabin recirculation and automated pressure control vial NorAM’s exclusive X-VALVE. The Mach-3 can be made in a vertical or horizontal configurations. It can be 4’ x 4’ footprint for a stand-alone heat unit or 4’x10’6” for a Mach-3 combination for intake and exhaust, or a 4’x 12’ Mach-3X footprint designed for complete recirculation. This can be custom fitted for a side intake/exhaust or vertical intake/exhaust. Our heat units are designed and specified with you in mind.
